Awards Presentation
At 7:45 p.m., the ceremony begins. The night opens with a keynote speech by Dr. Alessandra Luchini. Dubbed one of the top 10 Brilliant Scientists Under the Age of 40 by Popular Science, Dr. Luchini and her team at George Mason University have developed a technique that can help diagnose cancer and other diseases sooner, enabling physicians to treat disease in its early stage.
Then, the long-awaited moment! The finalists and winners in each of the twenty-nine categories will be announced. Someone from each of the winning companies will walk across the stage to accept their award.
